What measures should be taken if water does not come out after the centrifugal water pump is started?

1. Phenomenon

After the water pump is running, it does not absorb water, and the pointers of the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge swing violently.

2. Cause analysis

The suction pipe is inverted and contains air; the suction pipe and vacuum gauge tube are leaking; there are blisters and pores on the suction side of the pump casing; the suction pipe is not filled with water.

3. Prevention and control measures

(1) When installing the suction pipe, the slope should be greater than or equal to 0.005 towards the suction side of the water pump, and be connected to it with an eccentric tapered pipe.

(2) Check the air leakage and block it; if there are blisters in the pump casing, plug the air leakage with soft lead or replace it with a new pump casing.

(3) Open the filling valve and fill the suction pipe.
