Precautions for installation of self-priming pump
1. Before installing the self-priming pump, you should carefully check whether the bolts of the self-priming pump are loose and whether there are any foreign objects falling into the pump body to avoid damaging the impeller when the self-priming pump is running.
2. Place the self-priming pump on the concrete foundation, place an isolation pad between the bottom plate and the foundation, and adjust the level of the isolation pad to adjust the level of the pump, and tighten the bolts after adjustment.
3. Before installing the self-priming pump, the fire pump manufacturer should prepare a suitable concrete foundation according to the foundation size of the self-priming pump, and the anchor bolts should be pre-embedded during the process of making the concrete foundation. Making concrete foundations refers to large self-priming pump products. Small self-priming pumps do not need to make concrete foundations.
4. When the self-priming pump has a dust cover at the factory inlet and outlet, the dust cover should be removed and connected to the pipeline. It should be noted that if you are using a self-priming pump product that can suck out water the fastest, the outlet pipeline must be You can only turn after 1 meter vertically upward, otherwise the water in the pump body will be easily drained during the self-priming process.
5. For the convenience of maintenance and safe use, a regulating valve should be installed on the inlet and outlet pipes of the self-priming pump, and a pressure gauge should be installed between the outlet valve and the pump to ensure that the fire pump manufacturer certifies that the self-priming pump operates at the rated Use it within the flow and head range, so that the self-priming pump can operate normally and extend the service life of the self-priming pump.
6. Before starting the self-priming pump, you should turn the pump shaft and pour liquid into the pump cavity at the same time, so that the liquid fills the pump cavity for the purpose of exhaust. Check whether there is any leakage in the pump. There should be no friction sound or stuck phenomenon in the impeller. If there is friction or sticking, the pump should be disassembled, the specific cause should be checked and the problem should be solved.
7、自吸泵的吸水管道和出水管道不能依靠水泵来支撑，而是需要单独的支架来支撑进出口管道，并且进出口管道的口径应该与自吸泵的口径相吻合，特别是进口管道不能变大，变大之后会影响自吸泵的自吸高度，自吸泵进口管道如果安装时缩小后，出口管道也必须缩小才行，我们建议是按出厂标准口径配置对应管道比较好。
